Project overview

A distinct tailoring, sewing, and pattern-making education storefront built on a reusable course-commerce architecture.

My role

Full-Stack Developer

The problem

Reuse a maintainable educational platform while delivering a separate frontend and course-commerce experience for another brand.

What I delivered

  • Implemented a distinct frontend design for tailoring, sewing, and pattern-making courses and related products.
  • Adapted the same core educational backend architecture used by EnglishTech, rather than duplicating ownership claims for shared components.
  • Integrated course and product management, student access, purchasing, and administration.
  • Used protected course-video architecture with authorization and configurable watermark capabilities.

How the system fits together

Technical architecture Conceptual flow
  1. Shared educational backend
  2. Brand-specific frontend
  3. Courses & products
  4. Student authorization
  5. Protected playback

Technical decisions

  • Reuse the core learning and commerce architecture while adapting the brand-facing frontend and content.

Implementation context

The educational backend is shared with EnglishTech. Video authorization and watermark capabilities are described as implemented functionality; private playback was not independently verified.
